Net Message is a compact and lightweight application that uses the Windows Messenger service to send and receive messages through a network. This does not mean that it is another client to use as a MS messenger clone, but only uses the service to use it within the same network.
Despite its simple appearance, it has all functions that are usually included in the traditional instant messaging clients that use the web, such as file transfer, chat, message history, use of nicknames and aliases, blocking contact option, silent or audible notifications option, sending messages to multiple recipients, automated response, etc...
But what makes it unique are features such as the messages interception, support for all Windows operating systems (9x and later), support for sending large texts, direct response to the original sender, address book, message sending to multiple contacts, tracking sender, personalized message (even for blocked contacts), support for modern multithread multi-processors, option to use command line, sniffing the network for users, its very simple interface and very low resources consumption.
All the above makes it ideal for its use in a private network, whether business, family or office.
Warning: in its home page the previous version (1.6 Build 3) appears first, but below you will find the download link for this newer release. Net Message is freeware and provided 'as is'.
